In this illustrated and interactive lecture-recital, two Cambridge PhD researchers, composer Darren Bloom from the Faculty of Music, and physicist Joseph Davighi from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, discuss how they collaborated to create a string quartet inspired by Carlo Rovelli’s Seven Brief Lessons on Physics. The event will conclude with a live performance of the work by the award-winning Piatti Quartet.
