International String Quartet Competition 2016

The association “QUATUORS BORDEAUX” aims the promotion of chamber music, especially the string quartet, rich musical forms an exceptional repertoire. Its objectives are to encourage the emergence, development and promotion of youth training String Quartet of international, music-loving public of loyalty and attract new audiences.

For this purpose, it organises, every three years, an International String Quartet Competition, which since 1999 has taken over the prestigious Evian contest.
